Danuscia Tschudi

Expert Job- and Topsharing

Danuscia Tschudi obtained a degree in International Relations from the Institut des Hautes Etudes Internationales (now HEID) in Geneva in 2000, a DEA in Communication and Media in 2002 and a CAS in Gender Studies at the University of Geneva in 2011. After her studies, she became coordinator of the Gender Commission of the Scuola universitaria professionale della Svizzera Italiana SUPSI in 2002. Three years later, she took over the responsibility for the Gender and Diversity Service while collaborating and then developing research projects. She is a member of various commissions at national level in the field of equality of exchanges, in particular from 2004 to 2016 of the Advisory Board “Equal Opportunities in Hautes Ecoles Spécialisés HES” of the State Secretariat for Education, Swissuniversities . In 2014, she decided to focus on research. Her favorite topics are gender studies, changes in the world of work, work organization, careers and vocational training.

In 2015 she was project leader of the research action “Job sharing: an organizational way to manage working time”, developed at SUPSI in collaboration with the Ente ospedaliero cantonale EOC (Ticino Hospitals) and financed by the Equal Opportunities Fund SERI HES.

Married and mother of a daughter, active in gender studies and very interested in issues related to the harmonization of the different phases of private and family life, work and education, she joined PTO in 2019 for career promotion and topsharing in Ticino, a canton where this form of work organization is not yet widespread.
